The amount of pollen in the air for Saturday will be falling in the low range. Since the weather has a major influence on pollen dispersal, this decrease is due in part to falling temperatures, lack of strong winds and expected precipitation in the morning and evening which tends to wash pollen out of the air.

MONDAY, Oct. 5, 2015 (HealthDay News) -- Getting a flu shot may protect you not only from flu, but also from pneumonia, the leading cause of flu-related hospitalizations and deaths, a new study suggests.
Most children and adults hospitalized for flu-related pneumonia haven't had a flu shot, the researchers said.
